The Neuters

Many of our neutered Maine Coons were originally breeding cats who have now retired. Whilst I do sometimes re-home my neutered cats, many of them stay here with me.

The Girls

Leia

Racoons Resort Principessa – Leia

DOB February 2016

Leia is a tortie bi-colour. Leia has had one litter, in 2020, but has stubbornly refused to get pregnant again. She’s much happier snuggling in bed with me or sitting out in the rain than raising babies.

Leia is from our friend Nico and Suzy in Belgium.

Flora

Lisieux Flora Finching – Flora

DOB August 2018

Flora is a silver tabby with white.

Flora was an excellent mum and is very much enjoying her retirement. She helps her mum Po to look after the rest of the menagerie. She’s best friends with Leia, and is often found sitting on my desk with her, or snuggling in bed together.

Black smoke maine coon queen

Lisieux Tabatha TwitchitTabatha

DOB February 2019

Tabatha is a black smoke.

Tabatha lives with my good friend Sarah. Tabs is a proper mummy’s girl, and she loves her dogs – she lives with a border collie, a brittany and three cocker spaniels.

Maine coon

Janeissa Samsara Firefly – River

DOB March 2017

River is a tortie smoke.

River is a great mum – she LOVES having babies. In between litters, she likes hanging out in the garden and trying to get my attention.

River retired as a breeding girl in spring 2025.

The Boys

Walter

Janeissa Son of Clooney – Walter

DOB: September 2017

Walter is a brown classic tabby, he retired as a stud boy in spring 2025.

Walter is a big teddy bear of a stud cat. He’s very happy being out with his ladies, but is happiest when he can be inside and asleep on my bed. He passes his gentle temperament onto his kittens.

Walter is registered as a cat blood donor with Davies Veterinary Centre. He first gave blood in 2023 when his son Lisieux Brutus became ill after eating something that poisoned him and needed a transfusion. He has since donated blood several times to help other poorly cats.

Benjen

Lisieux Humbug – Benjen

DOB December 2013

Benjen is a silver tabby.

Ben is our Pets as Therapy cat. He’s a big gentle giant and loves visiting his PAT establishments. He loves meeting new people and welcomes people to our home.

Cubby

Lisieux Benjamin Bunny – Cubby

DOB February 2019

Cubby is a blue and white.

He’s a real snuggle bug with his humans, but does have a habit of trying to bully the other boys.

Whisky

Lisieux Helleborous – Whisky

DOB December 2020

Whisky is a black tabby & white. He’s Nettle’s dad and Clue’s grandad. He’s a gentle soul and didn’t really enjoy being a stud cat.

He spends a lot of time hanging out with his half siblings Flora and Benjen.

Our Dogs

Our two boys are Tamaskans, which is an unrecognised breed, made up of GSD, Malamute and Husky. They are bred to look like wolves, but to be pet dogs. Our two boys are from Lynn at Blustag. We lost Woody in February 2026 – see our our In Memorium page for more about him.

Dief

Blustag Rutherford – Diefenbaker

DOB June 2012

Dief is a wolf grey Tamaskan.

Dief is a very gentle soul. He worries about stuff, especially his mum, and is very protective of me.

He loves his kittens, and is often found snuggled up with one or two of them.

Woody

Blustag Tuoni – Woody

January 2013 – February 2026

Woody was a red grey Tamaskan.

Woody was our rescue Tam. He came to us from Lynn at 5 months old, we were his 4th home.

He was the most laid back dog, and loved his big brother Dief (who is technically his cousin) more than anything . Woody loved all people and most dogs, although he did get a bit freaked out when cats jumped on him.

Woody was a Pets as Therapy dog and used to visit Northampton General Hospital, and a primary school. He went to Crufts twice on the PAT stand, and got to join Clare Balding on the sofa.
